Given the context, where an user I won't mention (because he calmed down and asked nicely I don't mention him) spent two weeks straight having a very borderline behaviour towards numerous people without any repercussions until a few of us started actively pointing out the problem, it adds to the incomprehension
While it took some time, things seem to have been settled privately, I haven't seen him bother anyone until then - I interpretated all this as a will to moderate smoothly, which fits the staff rules, and that doing things right can take time
So why pressure @xXxLunaxXx with red text publicly. Her post was not aimed towards LC mods specifically, and even if it was maybe implied, the reaction is totally disproportionate. Has not either been harassing mods or been a threat to the site that would deserve, in the end, such backlash
It's hard not to see double standards.
Represent LC correctly. Staff behavior sets the tone—keep it professional even in casual spaces.
Do your actual staff tasks first. Reports, approval queue, and urgent issues come before chatting.
No power-tripping. Moderate content, not egos. Don’t escalate unless necessary.
Use the least force needed. Warn → edit/move → temporary action → ban (depending on severity).
Be consistent. Apply rules the same way across ranks, friends, and popular users.
Keep staff coordination in staff channels. Don’t argue policy in public threads.
Document major actions. Notes/logs for bans, major deletions, and serious warnings.

For me, it's all the childish conflict that arises in many discussions. I like to refer to certain people as NPCs because it's literally the response you'd expect from an NPC or background character: typical insult-filled nonsense, destructive criticism of the content posted, and arguments with middle-school insults on a site where everyone is supposed to be an adult, although it's obvious many aren't. Some can't even be considered adults mentally, and this is coming from someone who considers themselves immature and often childish in their attitude.
I'm not saying everyone is like that. Like everywhere, even here, there are very good people who always comment on interesting and funny things, but the idiots make more noise. The difference is that there's a greater influx of idiots.

And those were just the most harmless posts; I don't want to engage in mod-bashing here, but to be fair, @Jaike started a thread on fuck95, and even created a dedicated section for complaining about moderators called "Mod Madness"... I mean, just imagine: there’s an entire list of threads about mods on fuck95...
And you're absolutely right, there are definitely moderators from fuck95 here.
No mod or staff member is untouchable or enjoys immunity on the site where they work; you can report them at any time or submit a support ticket if you feel you’ve been treated unfairly.
If this happens frequently and always involves the same mod, sooner or later the team will have to consider whether this team member is still acceptable for the site or whether it would be better to part ways with them.
1-Criticized some games (meh on others, loved others). Mods never DM-ed me though a few Devs did really post strongly. Mods didn't interfere. No need for me to react.
2-On the games I was comparing them to other games in reviews, again, zero Mod involvement. Again, no need for me to react.
3-I've supported, been neutral and been strongly against some dev actions with wording to match. They responded but no action against me. Still, no need for me to react.
4-Never having been banned here, this is my first, middle, and last account in LC... Therefore, no need to react.
I don't hate it persay but i find it very whiny sometimes. It's a big issue with a lot of places on the internet in general but people can't live and let live sometimes. Voicing opinions is cool but i got used to seeing similar or the same names show up to content tagged with things they knowingly don't like.
