there's some quite a bit of stuff we don't have tags for, which seems to be popular out there.

Honestly the only one that appeals to me is sex fight when it's two women. Belly buttons maybe??? But I think it's more like smooth stomachs which are just a result of a slightly curvy body type which I like anyway. While I don't get the others, I do get how people can develop such fetishes

What porn sites are making isn't necessarily indicative of what is common enough in porn games to have a tag. That said, I have seen at least one game for all the things you listed (other than maybe belly button? I have played a game where you fuck a belly button, is that what that tag means?) Having tags that aren't used very much isn't that big of a deal anyway, mainly we just don't want to have a lot of tags that mean almost the same thing which makes searching and choosing what tag to apply to games harder. However, adding a new process to formalize adding new tags is probably not a top priority at the moment.

I disagree, they are already very flexible. The points where they diverge are what make them different, not the points they have in common, and when you actually like the fetish you will see how that changes the final dynamic. And don’t confuse tags with people — a person can have several fetishes, but a tag represents only one fetish.


Harem and Polyamory both involve multiple romantic partners with sexual content, but there is a very important difference: in a harem all the partners share the MC and agree to it, while the MC does not share because everyone must remain faithful to him. In Polyamory the girlfriends/wives can have romantic/sexual relationships with people outside the harem, other men or women.

True harem is a fetish that has been hollowed out by being made too flexible. People who seek harem are looking for a power fantasy: a man who conquers several women to the point that they agree to share him with other women while remaining faithful to him. Yet many games receive the TAG even when they don’t fit the fetish at all — the MC has to end up with only one girl, or he has several girlfriends but they don’t know about each other and it’s not consensual, paid sex, casual sex without commitment… that does not qualify as harem.

I agree that the tags are messy. For example, Femdom is more focused on sadomasochism and BDSM, while Female Domination is about the power dynamic — who controls the sexual act. The sex can still be traditional, without BDSM and without humiliation. There aren’t 5 types of futanari; it’s a woman who has a penis and a vagina. Other genders and other themes are different things.

NTR has different tastes, which is why they are different fetishes and deserve exclusive tags. It’s the divergent points that define the fetishes, not the similar ones. For example, a red apple, a red car, and a red shirt — just because they are all red doesn’t mean they are the same. It’s the differences that define them, even though they are all red.

Being able to search for pegging tag would be nice, but I feel like there's so few games that have more than like 1 scene I'm not sure if it's worth it.

I am unsure if it's the tags that are not keeping up or the games. You can have a tag for anything, it doesn't mean there's a game to be tagged
