discussion Ren'Py DAZ Straitened Times [v0.71.1] [HRelease]

[ABacchus]

I just luv the milf in this game

That bug's still there? It's been around for a while.

Not sure if the developer cares but there is a slight exploit in the game in certain points.

One for sure I've found is with Mrs.Carson's body check at a 17:00 hr point, you can repeat it infinitely (because the timer doesn't go up) gaining 100 sexual affection!

It's like a sexy 'groundhog day' but just for that afternoon period. lol

Nice renders in this game, but the gameplay is so confusing. Dev is in too deep now but it could be simplified 100x

[CityGiraffe]

Love this game, hope the dev comes back

[SilentHunter]

The game is great (for a fan of games, not visual novels), but during development it has grown, new story arcs have appeared, due to the fact that many events are based solely on RNG, creating a normally functioning walkthrough mode is simply impossible, like creating a text walkthrough. My main complaint to the developer is the lack of a hint system in the game, it is unlikely that it will appear at this stage, but it is really very necessary. Despite this, the game is passable, and it is as a pure sandbox that it is great. Fans of kinetic or visual novels should not waste time downloading it.

There was this one. Worked great as a hint system.

How to install?
- unpack to /game folder (just as any other mod)

How to uninstall?
- Right now mod stores some data in game saves so simple mod deletion will not work (maybe I fix this in future). So you should do 3 steps

1. Open WalkthroughMod.rpy with text editor
2. Find line define WtModEnabled = True at the file start and change it to...

But sadly it hasn't been updated in a while. Wish someone who has the skills would take it over.

I am familiar with this attempt. Unfortunately, the mod didn't work perfectly. Some of the content was missing. But thanks for trying.

One of my favourite games sadly the sandbox elements are not well made I would not play it without a cheat but the milf chars are hot!

[LadyCeleste]

Whenever I go to sleep (so far with Jill, or with Lisa and L'il) and select 7:00, the game keeps skipping me ahead a day or several days, and I get a 'You hear a strange noise, do you investigate it' message, along with a bunch of 'You missed class' and 'You missed family dinner'. One time it skipped me from 1am on a Thursday morning all the way to Tuesday the next week.

Edit: This is playing with the 0.69.1 update. The last time I played was with 0.67.1, without this problem.

Yes, it's known bug - "sleep loop". As I can understand, problem is in cheat mod. Temporary cure:

Thanks, I'll try that later

v0.69.2 - 2026-07-20
Fix: Roadside Diner "ToWork" error
Fix: YS "PrivateTog" error
Fix: End game menu "pop" error
Fix: minor bugs fixes

I'm going through the game for the first time since May last year. I'm amazed how much new content has appeared. Sincere respect to the developer.

[lillelyn]

Before his break back in November, the dev had an update cadence of about a month between updates, so i'm quite curious to see where it lands now that he is back.

[Rexian]

Played up to ~.65 I think. Is there enough content to warrant a revisit, or should i wait a bit?

Despite the fact that the developer made some changes in the initial stages of the game, these changes are not worth trying to replay it from scratch. Of course, everyone decides for themselves, but I personally (I don't impose my point of view on anyone) would wait for the completion of the project, it seems that the finale is just around the corner - a significant part of the story arcs has already been completed. One of the positive changes is that it has become much easier to play, you don't have to wait for hours for one trigger or another trigger works.

UPD: completed:
Lil (sister), Jill (sister), Lisa (Mom), Anna (Stepmom), Emannuelle (Lit Teacher), Lauren (Neighbour mom) and Bank Manager

Plus one finale without any LI

Pretty good and lots of content. Thanks for sharing!

Well, cannot figure how to get Brigette from 90 sexual longing to any higher no matter what I do either at school in the gym or skipping classes, or playing video games and playing with her AND after playing videos games with her, went to Priest's room and got in bed with her and Brigette caught MC and Priest, went bugshit and now Priest will not let MC into house at 2300 nor in the bedroom at 0100.
Stuck in limbo now. Don't want to start all over again after getting so far.

A year ago, when I last played the game, there were no problems with this story arc. I don't remember the details, but that line was pretty straight. I haven't reached the cheerleader stage yet, I'm tinkering with the lawyer and judge arch. The Baptists and the second family will be the last to take care of. Maybe this document will help you:

UPD: I noticed that you asked the same question on another forum, a very reasonable decision, since there are more people there, the chances of getting help increase.

To get into Bridget's room after 23:00, you need to sneak into the Baptist's house secretly. It's not a difficult task.
Maybe this will help you to some extent:
Machine translation from the game guide in Russian.
- Dinner with the family. At dinner at 5 p.m., Bridget, unnoticed by her mother, attracts the MC's attention and tries to flirt.
"Brigitte's room." Bridget's mom will want the MC to take over the cheerleader and spend time with her.
1. The game. Now the MC can communicate with Brigitte, and play games with her on the PC. We continue, the game scenes will become more and more piquant (max. MC satisfies her with his hand).
2. Watch the game. The MC can watch Bridget as she plays, and can massage her feet first, and later use them for a foot job. We repeat it effectively so far.3. Watch the dance. On a weekend afternoon, we spend time in Bridget's room and watch her dancing with the cheerleaders' buffs.
- School. At 1 p.m., the MC can click on Brigitte, who is talking to her friends in the hallway of the school. A physical education teacher will appear, and together you will be forced to help collect equipment in the gym pantry. We repeat, so far it is effective.
- Dinner with the family. Your girlfriend. At the dinner at 5 p.m., Bridget will solemnly announce that MC and Bridget are now a couple. Bridget gets the MC girl status, which will make her mom very happy.
- Blowjob. If MC gives Bridget pleasure while playing with his hand in the evening, and uses her legs for foot job, then Bridget will want to please her boyfriend in the school bathroom by skipping classes. We repeat it effectively so far.
- Visits at night. At 1:00 a.m. we go to Bridget's room, where she meets MC topless. She was waiting for MC to please with the beauty of her body. If the tension level is completed (blowjob at school, footjob at the computer, jerk off to her while playing PC), then on the next visit Bridget will be ready for sex with a condom. MC takes her virginity.
"Brigitte's room." After dinner at 18.00-23.00, the MC can visit Brigitte in her room, and, sitting next to her, move on to more explicit scenes (sex in rubber, anal). We repeat it effectively so far.- Visits at night.
A creampie. At 1:00 a.m. we go to Bridget's room and knock. She asks about the condom. The MC says he doesn't have it. If the tension is enough, Brigitte will tell her to come in. And MC has the opportunity to fuck her, and after sex, the pastor's daughter will tell a little about her motives and share her thoughts about the plan for him, which she hatched when MC was still her neighbor, and stared at her mother. We repeat it effectively so far.
Congratulations! Now Bridget is completely devoted to you, and is ready for group fun, which has so far been implemented in a stripped-down version (v.053).

Thank you. That helped out immensely.
