It seems like there is, but that update will probably not come out any time soon. The devs involved have their own games to work on.

yeah but it might happen, there are so many abandoned projects that will never have the opportunity to be completed, at least this little treasure will....someday...

The situation with westy pretty much killed the whole scene. There aren't really any new games like this coming out anymore, at least from new devs. The stuff we are getting now is pretty much all from the devs that were already creating content like this before this shit happened.

Information about the case is kind of hard to find since, even when it first happened only a few local news outlets picked up the story.

Oh damn, I would wish him good luck but unfortunately I think he is fucked.

Westy is still alive and well, last I saw. I see him frequently on livestreams for NSF Live.

You must be registered to see links
For those of you that can`t access the link, he is facing 27 charges and is still to decide whether or not to accept a deal from the prosecution. The reason its dragging out is that he was refused legal aid and had to come up with money for a lawyer. So far he has not entered a plea on any of the charges. He was granted bail again and his next hearing is 7th May

It's hard to try to be positive when they are treating the whole situation as if he had material with real kids. There are literally 0 victims, what a fucking waste of time.

Ah, the same thing that happened to count dankula isn't it? "You are not poor enough to be paid a lawyer but not rich enough to pay it yourself"

If what I read is true, he also wasn't really that smart while travelling. He apparently had at least the content of Proud Father on his laptop while traveling, despite the fact that Australia is infamous for their extreme digital **** laws and prosecution.Prosecuted for thoughtcrime.

From what I've seen they'll count things like your ability to take out a loan or sell assets as part of your ability to pay for a lawyer. Criminal justice systems are designed to get criminals convicted as cheaply as possible, they don't do very well with cases where someone might actually be innocent.
