I don't absolutely *hate* it like I do with the bullshit "landlady" thing, but I prefer it to be actual sister than stepsister. I can't remember which game it was, but there's one where your dad dies (of course) and then you find out that your dad had a secret family, so you have your mom, your sisters, then your dad's other wife (stepmom?) and her daughters (your half-sisters).

Personally as someone who has a fucked up family, its not incest until there is a defined blood relation, like a new younger sibling between step-parent and parent, a marriage does not make it incest. I, personally, prefer full incest in my games but I understand the censorship if it's a public game.
