Yeah, it feels pretty shitty to have been working toward the other goal and have it basically be reset and start from zero. Even if its just like 10 points for each trophy would be nice.
What could help, but I don't know if it's even doable, would be if users who have 1 or 2 year old accounts can buy a discount in the store (for free) for the members+ rank, so it's maybe 30%-50% cheaper.

Because you don't have the M+ rank yet. It's working fine for me. Try to get a few more comments going (with some reactions) and you can buy it with your LC.
Because the short free games+ access from yesterday is gone again. You need to buy member+ with the credit system.

If that's the only content you truly play then I suppose. There are still some threads you could scroll through and leave a comment regarding finding games etc. Maybe you come across something you've not played yet.

VIP is a whole different thing (not entirely sure what it really involves outside of some shiny forums things like flashy names etc.) and m+ is just solely there to gate the other content. So for 99.99% M+ is all you need.

VIP was here before the member+ rank but I don't think there is any real VIP content on the website as of now. So probably a smart idea! Maybe we'll get to do more with points and that way the VIP will be more accesible for us and in return there will be some content.

No, they are on your own profile or if you hover over your own name they also show up. Also if you click on shop you can see what you have in your wallet (but not what you got in the bank currently, unless I'm blind).

They did hand out some M+ to people who kind of fell in between the old rules but it seems some may have been overlooked. Honestly if you've been actually active for a long time they may not have an issue giving you m+. Think this measure is mainly for the future not to punish current users. Maybe try Discord or a ticket, otherwise I guess you gotta haul your butt over to the booming threads and score some coin there. Some coins were also taken away from people over night so I think they are still looking to see how and what.I've taken a new approach to this whole fiasco.
Since our actions before the change aren't worth anything and LC suddenly cares about engagement so much, how about this:
Every day the new system is in place the screwed over users delete a post, review, or reaction?
I'll go first with the first post of mine that I can still see.
Hilariously enough, I can't see any of the posts I made in the restricted section, otherwise I would have chosen to delete my very first post. Anyways, that was a helpful comment explaining how a certain game has some translation issues and also acted a little review to introduce potential new players to the game. Since, LC only gives a shit about newer stuff, I'm sure you all won't miss it.
