i dont really get the hate behind sandbox games i love them while VNs on the other hand i dont really get the appeal behind those

I can see it both ways -- but 'sandbox' is so generic of a term, some Dev's definitely go extreme with it.

Some of my favorite games are Sandbox games that I didn't mind the 'grind' on -- Midnight Paradise -- A Family Venture -- Shattered Minds -- and of course Milfy City

Some examples of sandbox games that were just loaded with so much content -- and the big thing for me for sandbox is the 'repeatable' scenes being worthwhile of actually repeating after unlocking.

But, there are sandbox games out there that take 10 hours to unlock one teasing scene and then half the time it's not even repeatable lol -- and then even worse, 90% of those games stop getting updates right before you unlock any actual full lewd scenes that aren't just teasing (ie; most bad bobby games lol) so I think that automatically becomes a big red flag for a lot of people.

I think sandbox and VNs each have their own appeal and I actively play both. Since VNs don’t have anything besides a story, they focus there to try and make it good. Sandbox has a lot more open ability so the dev might spend less time on story. I think there are too many sandbox games where the story is copy and pasted so people get annoyed with that. In my opinion, a well made sandbox is better than a well made VN, but a poorly made sandbox is worse than a poorly made VN

Totally valid. If you have a “need some gameplay” requirement for anything you download from here, then VNs are not for you at all. VNs to me are for when I want an animated xxx story since actual xxx animations are much more scarce. Especially if you want uncensored loli content.

Hate when I have to delete someone's first post, but we have rules about posting low-effort posts.

Remember that a post should exist for a reason, and if your post could've just been a reaction, it's not worth existing.

I hope you stick with it and keep posting though. I recommend finding a thread where people are talking and quote reply someone. It's the easiest way to engage in good conversations.

there are sandbox type of VN's too with a main story to follow but free activities to do.. but yeah in the end its all the same like clicking around is annoying

Guide is helpful, but could I suggest linking the "Activity Score System" thread as well? The whole point is to unlock Members+, and there's a few more requirements than just "make 85 comments" to unlock that. Took me a bit of looking around to find that thread since it's not pinned anywhere, and it's a pain to sort through all the various revision when it's not clear what's the most recent setup for screening people.

Do donations only provide enough coins for one month of member+ status, whereas earning lewd coins directly grants permanent member+ status? Do you get anything else by donating? I also noticed there’s a "beta pass," but I’m not sure what that does.
